Damson Idris Talks Saweetie And Wanting To Be A Father

Snowfall is back! The fifth season of the popular show starring Damson Idris premiered Wednesday on FX and this time we will see Damson’s character Franklin Saint in a new light. If you haven’t watched the premiere yet, then you might want to skip this next line and for those who have watched it then you may know where I’m going with this. Spoiler alert.

The episode welcomed a new character, Veronique, who not only works with Franklin on the legitimate business side, but the characters are also in a relationship and we find out that she is pregnant.

With a baby on the way, Franklin is now working harder to make sure nothing jeopardizes the life he is creating for his family, even if that means getting rid of those who were once close to him. When it comes to having kids in real life, the 30-year-old actor wants to be a father someday.

He’s already an uncle to 16 nieces and nephews and is also a great uncle. However, family life is taking a backseat to his career.

Damson opened up about it in GQ. “Do you want to go to that Oscar party, or do you want to stay at home and watch this movie with your wife and kid?” he asked, “I want to go to the Oscar party!” He’s also enjoying being single again after coming out of a nine-year relationship (which means he appears to be a relationship guy).

However, his fans have linked him to other women such as DreamDoll and most recently Saweetie. The British actor responded to the rumors surrounding him and DreamDoll after they posed together in a photo at an Oscars after-party.

He tweeted, “Ok. So don’t pose near women because then we are apparently married. Forgive me, I’m still learning.”

He sent social media into a frenzy again after he shared a video of him and Saweetie together. In the video, the Bay Area rapper was seen playing the piano while he recorded her. But according to him, they are just friends, which is a relief to many of his female fans.

Damson also did GQ’s 10 Things I Can’t Live Without video series, which only showed more why he can’t keep the ladies off of him. Check it out below:
