Travis Scott Set To Headline First Music Festival Since Astroworld Tragedy
Months after the devastating tragedy at his Astroworld Festival that left 10 people dead and several others injured, Travis Scott returns to the stage. Headlining his first music festival since the heart-breaking incident. According to recent reports, Travis Scott is set to headline the Primavera Sound Festival. The event goes down in South America this November with a crowd larger than Astroworld.
Within the months since the deaths and injuries at his Astroworld Festival, Travis Scott has only been on stage a handful of times. But that is all set to change this fall. Travis has just been announced as one of the Primavera Sound Festival’s headliners that will span Brazil, Chile, and Argentina on November 6th. The festival expects the crowd to be massive, as past attendance numbers have totaled more than 200,000 people.
Travis will play three shows in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago, Chile, on his designated performance date. Additionally, sources close to him say that the Primavera Sound Festival is the first of many planned this year. The rapper scheduled three U.S. festival performances, he will announce soon.
Travis Scott is still in the middle of several lawsuits due to the Astroworld tragedy. Travis also faces a $2 billion mega-suit on behalf of the 282 victims who died or others injured.
